My Version Of Extreme Couponing At My Local Target (Monday, October 10)

I had a chance to shop my local Target yesterday and this is what I was able to get:

4 - Olay Regenerist Facial Cleansing Wipes
4 - Listerine Zero Total Care with Bonus Travel Size
Total before coupons/promos:  $43.62
Total after coupons/promos:  $1.92

Here's how I did it:

Olay Regenerist Facial Cleansing Wipes, $5.99 each
Use:  $3/1 Olay Regenerist Facial Moisturizer or Facial Cleanser, exp. 10/31/11 (P&G 10/02/11)
Stack with:  $3.00/1 Olay Regenerist Facial Product Target Mobile Coupon
Final price:  FREE

Listerine Total Care Mouthwash with Travel Size Bonus, $4.99 each
Marked on clearance to $3.48 each at my local store
Use:  $2.00/1 LISTERINE® ZERO Total Care printable coupon
Stack with:  $1.00/1 LISTERINE® ZERO Total Care printable coupon from Target
Final price:  $.48 each after stacked coupons

I carried a copy of the Target store coupon policy with me in case of a problem at the register.  The Olay Regenerist mobile coupon allowed for repeated use at the register; done in seperate transactions.  I was able to print two coupons from each home computer for a total of 4 bottles of mouthwash.

Be sure to check out local Target for similar savings this week, too!

I signed up for mobile coupons but I"m not getting them... did I miss something? Do I have to have a smart phone?

  5. Tanyetta,

This was a rare occassion. I am usually only able to use my mobile coupon once, before it marks itself as redeemed on my mobile phone. But for some reason, this one didn't! I checked with the store manager before attempting a second transacation with the mobile coupon and she said as long as it was appearing as available, I would be able to use it.

    Hope that helps!

  6. Jennifer,

I would think, yes. A visual bar code has to appear on your phone screen for a cashier to scan at the register.

But, I do believe there is a way to print the mobile coupons. Let me see what I can find out.

  7. I just went to target for my mouthwash and couldn't do it cuz the coupons are for one liter bottles. So how'd you manage, with the exact same coupons?

  8. Deelywoman,

At my Target store in Virginia Beach, when I shopped, the store had both the 1L with bonus travel size bottle and the smaller bonus set on clearance for $3.48.

I originally picked up the smaller bottle, thinking it would be the better deal but realized it didn't meet the requirements of the coupon.

I put the smaller bonus pack back and reached for the bigger one (and about did a cartwheel when I realized they were the same price!) and that's how I was able to get them for just $.48 each.

    I hope that helps :o)
