Target Stores Opening At Midnight Black Friday 2011

Start your shopping carts ladies and gentlemen:  Target Stores will be opening at midnight on Black Friday this year!  And if that weren't enough, Target is also extended its hours on other key shopping days, including Christmas Eve:  Target stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. on December 24 and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on December 26, the day after Christmas.

In a statement by Tina Schiel, executive vice president, the information has been confirmed:
"The holidays bring hectic schedules and tight budgets, so extending store hours and offering lots of additional ways to save makes Target a great choice for affordable, one-stop holiday shopping,"

But wait, there's more!  In an effort to keep up with Walmart's holiday announcements like the return of layaway for toys, jewelry and electronics and their extended price match guarantee during the holiday season, Target will now offer a price match guarantee of their own.  Target's price match guarantee is pretty cut and dry:  shoppers can get a refund on the difference in price of a product if they find the same product advertised for a lower price locally by a competitor.

Will it be as detail specific as Walmart's holiday price match guarantee?  I have to admit, I hope not.  Although Walmart's price match guarantee sounds like a good deal, it's going to be a little difficult to keep up with ALL the advertisements, receipts and other necessities to save a few dollars on an item.

But the big question here is:  will you be in line for this midnight opening?
